What kind of cookies are they?

The Crumbly Canvas specializes in iced sugar cookies. Currently, the only flavor available is a vanilla cookie with sweet royal icing; however, additional flavors are making their way through the test kitchen on their way to you soon! Each cookie is at least 3” on its longest side unless otherwise noted.

When do I need to book your services?

As much has we wish we could bake all of the cookies, The Crumbly Canvas is a one-woman show, and time is limited. We are only able to accommodate a limited number of orders each week. As soon as you know a date, theme, or number, reach out and we will do our best to accommodate your cookie needs!

How much are your cookies?

Custom cookies start at $54 per dozen. When completing an inquiry, please be as specific as possible with what you are needing to ensure an accurate quote. Holiday pre-orders will be specifically priced based on design, quantity and size of cookies and will be posted at time of sale.

How can I pay?

All invoicing and payments are processed through Square. You may pay by credit or debit card or ACH bank transfer. If you are not able to pay through these methods, please reach out and we can discuss other potential options if available.

Do you have a minimum order?

The minimum for all orders is one (1) dozen cookies unless otherwise noted. Holiday pre-order sales and Cookie of the Month Club Subscriptions may be offered in smaller quantities as noted at time of advertisement.

Do I owe a deposit?

Yes, all orders are subject to a 25% deposit due at time of booking to hold your spot on our calendar. The deposit is refundable until 14 days from pick-up or delivery. Once we are 14 days from delivery, the deposit is unfortunately non-refundable.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand life happens. Orders cancelled 15 days or more before delivery will receive a refund of the deposit. Orders cancelled 8 to 14 days prior to delivery will not be held responsible for the full balance due, but will not receive a refund of the deposit. Orders cancelled within 7 days of delivery may be held responsible for the full balance due for the cookies as we begin preparing ingredients

Can I return the cookies?

First, let us say, this is not frequently asked… we’ve actually never had anyone ask! However, we figured someone somewhere was probably wondering. Unfortunately, we do not accept returns on cookies. Throughout the ordering process, we will do all we can to ensure a mutual understanding of your desired outcome. If you are dissatisfied with the looks or taste of your order, please let us know as we appreciate all constructive criticism; however, placing an order with us means placing your trust in our ability to deliver quality products.

How do they come packaged?

All cookies come packaged in a bakery box unless otherwise discussed. If you’re looking to give the cookies as a gift, giveaway, or favor, we are happy to package them individually in a clear bag for an additional $9 per dozen.

Do you ship the cookies?

Unfortunately, we cannot currently ship our cookies. We are, however, working through the logistics and hope to offer in-state shipping in the near future!

Where are you located?

We are a home bakery located in Montgomery, Alabama. We operate under the Alabama Cottage Food Law, and the cookies are baked and decorated in a kitchen that is not inspected by a regulatory agency. However, rest assured that any and all cleaning measures are taken to ensure a sanitary working environment.
